I hired this gentleman to renovate my upstairs bathroom. His estimate was good, and I gave him a deposit of 30% of the total cost to get started. After tearing apart my bathroom the first day of the job, he said there were some issues with the plumbing that would prevent him from being able to meet his original estimate, and that it would cost an additional $2500.00! I asked him what issues he was referring to. He said let me take another look after I get back from Home Depot. At that point, he left and never returned.
