  Kenneth’s work was not bad and he did cleanup which was very impressive. He also shows up on time. The issues I had with him is his communication skills are very poor and it created a lot of stress on me. He also goes off at times and does his own thing. You also have to supervise the work daily to make sure he is following your requests. I asked for a Trey ceiling in the kitchen and bedroom and he gave me a soffit. I also wanted an arch between the kitchen and dining room and it was a total disaster. He had to do it all over with another design because he just could not install the one I wanted even after sending him the picture and he stated he could do it. Please expect to pay a high price if he has to help you out with an extra nail or screw in the wall or adding a curtain rod to a window. He did a good job with the kitchen but still having issues with the lazy Susan door and the fixtures in the bathroom fell off the wall as well as the curtain rods that he put up . There were a few more things but got some one else to come in and redo some of it. You might be lucky using him but I am neutral in recommending him.

  I am very pleased with the work that was done. I had this company completing an unfinished basement. Kenneth and his team were very professional and friendly. They were very clean and respectful. They completed the work on time, they even put in a Theater room which everyone loves. I would use them again with other building projects and also would recommend them to others.

  I actually thought long and hard before submitting this review bc 1. I was praying that Kenneth would rectify the issue and I wanted to him the chance and 2. I support small businesses and minority owned businesses. But here it goes. My budget was $45k to finish my basement. I found this guy on home advisor and I chose him bc he got good reviews. That was my first mistake. He came to my and he gave me a quote and a time line. He started work two weeks late then gave me an excuse about his mother being sick. All was forgiven (second mistake). The first week of work went well but after the first payment he disappeared again for another two weeks. Then random ppl started showing up at my house and most times, they just sat around bc he gave them little or no instruction. This bothered me bc I have a wife and kids and I didn't feel comfortable with new and random contractors showing up. The project was supposed to take 3 months, but EIGHT months later my basement wasn't done and he often did things wrong and had to redo. To sum it up, this guy has no problem looking in your eye and telling you a flat lie. He was NEVER on time. You can give this guy a detailed picture of what you want done and he will still get it wrong. Calling him unprofessional is a compliment. Not only did he not finish, he left tons of trash and cigarette butts on my property. I paid this guy every dime he asked for on time. I virtually begged him to finish the job before I finally gave up. Pls dont be fooled by the reviews. Hes one of those guys that will make you lose faith in mankind. Nothing short of a con artist. Save yourself the trouble and stay FAR away from this company.

  I've called this contractor many time to come fulfill his warranty promise, and I've haven't heard from him in 4 months. Also, this was suppose to be a 5-6 week job. It took 4 month, and is still wasn't completed. So I had to cut ties with this guy. I had already wasted $34,000.
