Install vinyl fence, install and paint arch, paint shed, cover rock in DG brimstone and install 8x12
    $3,550

Terrible experience! Totally untrustworthy people! I was hiring Bob Brodeur, (owner) and his “partner,” David “DJ” Gutierrez, per a referral to put in a vinyl fence. I wanted to spend around $2000. They said for a little more they would also paint my shed and arch to match and I agreed. Then DJ added that if I could up my budget to $3550 and agreed to not make them remove the gravel rock, they would cover the gravel in DG and I would love it. I told them that’s everything I have and didn’t want to spend that much. DJ said that if I agreed, he would include a carport into my contract, to cover my golf cart. He told me it was a job worth $1200 but he already had the parts and needed to clear them out anyway, so for $3550 he’d give me a contract to install the vinyl fence, paint the shed and arch, add the DG over the rock and install the covered carport. Bob also added that he would do other little things for me for free, like pruning the tree in the middle of my yard and setting the stepping stones I had into the DG. It was way more than I wanted to spend but DJ kept repeating, “you’re getting the carport, which is worth $1200 alone!” I finally agreed and they demanded $1700 up front, which I paid them immediately in cash and DJ hand wrote a receipt and emailed the terms of the contract which I’ve included here:

They worked two days, installed the fence, did one coat on the shed and arch and covered the gravel in DG. It was 8pm on day 2 and they wanted the remaining $1850, promising they would come back to install the carport, do touch ups on the paint and the other things that had been offered.by Bob who said “I’m a man of my word.” DJ further reassured me, stating that his grandma lives in my park and he would never screw be over. The carport was in the contract and he already had all the parts. I was exhausted and mistakenly thought I could trust them. I gave them $1900 in cash and Bob gave me $50 in change. From that point on in NOVEMBER 2018 until the present, I’ve been lied to, insulted, ghosted and then lied to and insulted again. The only thing missing was them fulfilling the terms of our contract. To take full payment for a job but not fulfill all terms of that contract equivocates to theft. But to literally add insult to injury, in addition to NEVER showing up for scheduled appts to install the carport nor calling to let me know they wouldn’t show, DJ had the audacity to text me that I “stole that job!” I guess that’s what David Gutierrez calls people who pay in cash in full for the contract he himself proposed and put into writing but hasn’t completed over FIVE MONTHS after he received all the money. Also, Bob had advised me that in order to enclose the fence he’d have to kill my fully blooming Mexican Palm. I didn’t want to kill it but Bob hacked up the tree, leaving a gaping whole on the side of the fence. I attributed that gaff to a misunderstanding and I offered to pay Bob and DJ more to enclose the fence, also hoping that would give them added incentive to complete the initial contract by installing the carport. After months of delays, I met Bob at Loews and paid for all the materials to enclose the fence. Bob claimed his truck was full that day but NEVER picked up those materials or would even return a text to tell me whether or not he’d gotten them, I ultimately hired someone else to pickup and enclose the fence, which in fact, did NOT require killing the tree to install. Additionally, the pipe to my watering system was broken, (I also had to pay someone else to fix,) they never came back to properly set the DG by wetting it down or set in the stepping stones or prune the tree, or do paint touch ups, etc. This has been beyond frustrating and a horrible way to do business!
