We hired Ryan Pulice of Four Star Plumbing in Batavia/Geneva, IL to installed a smart faucet, food disposal, and replace a broken water valve below our kitchen sink after getting new counters and sink. (We also asked him to put a water shutoff behind our new fridge per our installers' instructions -- but he said since we had one easily accessible in the basement that wasn't necessary.) He was recommended by our counter fabricators. We were please with the recommendation. He came out twice and was both the quickest and most flexible in getting to us but also the best priced by a long shot. That wouldn't matter if his service wasn't good; but it was excellent. He was friendly and answered all our questions (and I had many). He also returns calls in a timely manner. Twice he gave us free advice to avoid him doing work we didn't really need, e.g. a couple weeks after he'd done his work a new dishwasher was installed by Lowe's install team and as a result PVC pipes below the sink began to leak al little. Rather than charging us for another visit, he gave us free advice over the phone on tightening those connections, which worked. (He also offered to come over that evening at the end of his day to fix them if they still leaked - so it wasn't a brush off, just helpful.) Although he could have charged us more and/or have done work we didn't need, he did not. He's now our go-to plumber. Highly recommend this company.
