If I could give a ZERO I would. It has been almost three years since I signed my agreement with Qualk. I could write an essay about the poor business practices. They took over 22K from me in October of 2017 towards a contract of 45K. They were to do all my windows and some alterations to my french door area. Three months later no word from them. When I contacted them via email and phone they were "shocked" what was in our contract. Meanwhile permits with the city and approvals thru my homeowners assoc, showed NO building changes. I was given the run around and never permitted to speak with the owner, Richard Qualk. They sent another salesman out, because mine was fired. The windows, french doors and the new sliders (building changes) had been ordered. The new rep came and said, "we can't do this!" I was confused because it was in my contract that they would and I thought they were builders as well. I kept trying to connect with the owner, no response. I had to get an attorney spend over 30K in addition to the deposit to finally get most of my money back, I am still out about 3K. Over 2.5 years, their defense was.... we are not responsible for what our salesman sold! Even though it was on their contract. They tried to appeal but I think they realized that I would not back down and had to fight for what was right. DO NOT USE THEM.
