    Repair and remodel
    $11,000

We have been very pleased with Radar Restoration. We had two rooms damaged due to a water leak. We started with another contractor who was a disaster. We brought Radar Restoration in on the suggestion of our insurance adjuster. They arrived promptly, provided an estimate and have done an excellent job with our upstairs bathroom. There have been delays due to OUR inability to find some of the elements of what we are doing. Butch the project manager was patient with us. I would go back to them in a heartbeat if we had a similar situation.

    Fire Restoration
    $243,000

They started out professional/polite and have remained polite. They bid the project upfront with us in July of 2021 and when we agreed to work with them, we asked them to send over a contract. They started by sending architects out in August of 2021 which we met with and walked the house and explained what we thought we wanted to do but also stressed that we were not 100% sure and would need to see the rough draft drawings to make sure we were going the right direction. This all occurred long before they ever sent us a contract which we thought was odd but continued anyway. We were told that we would be contacted when the rough draft was done to make final changes to it and confirm a final draft. This is the last we heard from Radar until November 5th 2021 when they sent over a contract for us to sign. Unfortunately, their contract does not meet Arizona Registrar of Contractors minimum standards for a contract sent by a licensed contractor. We had also arranged beforehand several items on the scope that we the homeowners would be completing and not having Radar Restoration do. This was agreed to verbally and via text and email however they refused to provide a written change order to document these changes. Moving forward from this we completed the portion of the demo we told them we would and spoke to their Forman at the time Derek about approximately $10,000 worth of cabinets we had saved and stored in a portion of the house that we had already demod. We asked him to give us a place where we could put them out of the way of their workers so they would not be damaged as we did not have any offsite place to store them at the time. We were told where to put them and piled them there only to have their workers throw away all of them, costing us $10,000 and several hours of work. Their framers then came and did beyond subpar work, left trash strewn everywhere, improper structural work, and then never came back. We were forced to redo some of the framing work ourselves even though we had already paid for it to have been done by Radars framers. We then heard nothing from Radar Restoration for approximately 5 weeks only to find out our foreman was fired, and nothing was even known about the status of our house. They gave us a new foreman named Brian who frankly is the only person there who seems to give somewhat of a shit about the customers. They missed several items and on our first invoice mischarged us approximately $31,000 over what they should have for work that was never completed and for double charges. This has been the norm for their invoices, on every single invoice I have received from them there is at least a few thousand dollars being overcharged. They never got plans approved by us forcing us to take an entire week off work to walk the electricians and plumbers through the rough in since they had nothing to go off of. They flat out refused to provide change orders or estimates for any additional work we discussed potentially doing. They simply did the work didn’t tell us what it cost, and then sent us an invoice charging for it with no written change order or agreement to support it and no receipts to support the invoice charges. they removed the bathroom facility from the site in July of 2022 and to date have forced their workers to work on site with no toilet facilities which is an OSHA violation and an Arizona Dept of health and safety violation. Their sub-contractors are constantly drinking on the job and leaving beer bottles strewn around the jobsite. There has been piles of loose trash from the demo of the roof and stucco laying around since March which blow into neighboring yards causing issues for not only us but our neighbors. this had been brought to Radar restorations attention multiple times with no actions taken by them to rectify the situation. They improperly mixed our tile grout so that is currently already coming out of the tile, and we have yet to occupy the home that is from walking inside a few days a week to work on the house. They continue to falsely charge on invoices either by charging us multiple times for the same line item or flat out making up numbers that are not backed up by any receipts. To date we have yet to receive a single change order from them for any additional money they are asking for. We had to write a change order retroactively for the credits they owed us for the work we completed. Under no obligation to do so we also took the liberty of writing a change order for them for the additional scope of work we asked for as they refused to provide one. They have yet to provide justification for costs on anything, they never provided estimates before doing the additional work. Their painters damaged personal property after being walked around and showed exactly what to tape off and not to paint. Their painters damaged the interior of the house and painted closets the wrong color. I wouldn't recommend them unless you want to pay to remodel\repair your house twice
