Rating a 1 star because there is no zero. He replaced our entire roof's shingles in 2006, had to do repairs in 2008 (done by - and paid for out of pocket by us - another roofer because he was 'too busy'), repairs in 2010, 2011, and he refused to do more needed repairs in 2012. I received professional opinions from 3 roofers, an insurance adjuster, and a 30-year-experienced union carpenter, all had the exact same opinion of poor workmanship due to shingles that were all nailed incorrectly. Stebler always seemed to respond with a poor attitude, as did the female who answered his phone. Results were that we needed to replace the entire roof after only six (6) years. In my opinion, based on all the professional evaluations and my personal experience, very poor workmanship and even worse follow up service.
