Stay away from this general contractor. He’s not worth the nightmare you will face when you see the quality of his workmanship and pure lack of oversight of his subcontractors. Among his false accreditations that he is misrepresenting to get you to sign with him.
He falsely misrepresented himself as BBB accredited as well claiming he was a member of 3 building associations Nebraska, Metro of Omaha, and the National association of home builders which we have now found to be lies. He’s been red tagged by the city for 3 items so far after we found out he didn’t do the necessary final inspections even though he claimed he was done months ago.
His accreditations aren’t the only thing he will lie about. He claimed he would fix things and then once he finds out the price of it’s not a cheap fix, he will make up an excuse or lie to not take accountability. His subcontractors admitted to damage and said he would make it right by taking the damages from their checks, yet he still wouldn’t fix issues when they weren’t cheap. You shouldn’t trust anything he says or writes, he’s tried to go back on numerous written statements to us, luckily we have all the texts and emails.
His subcontractors installed siding inappropriately and again, no oversight from him. We had to send him email after email telling him to get out and look at how bad it was. It wasn’t until we filed a complaint with the national siding rep that he even came out to look at it closely. They confirmed the installation voided any warranty. Even then, he made no efforts to fix it while other contractors could tell from down the street it wasn’t installed correctly.
He’s damaged so much personal property of ours it’s unreal. His subcontractors cut concrete, didn’t give us warning they were cutting it with a hole in the wall open, then didn’t cover anything and set off fire alarms and filled the entire home with concrete powder. Additionally they smoked in the addition filling the home with powder and cigarette smoke smell.
Please don’t fall for his misrepresentations. He will cut any corner he can to make profit resulting in your home not being up to code, left without warranties due to installation negligence, and personal property being damaged due to his lack of oversight and some workers lack of respect for your property. He will refuse to make his mistakes right because it will lose him profit. Mistakes happen and we gave him so much time to fix things and he can't just be an owner, take accountability for his workers, and fix the damage they’ve caused with their negligence.

I was the contact or go between for my client who had refused to deal with contractors, based on schedule and all frustration in the past.
After I met with Roger and he did his free walkthrough, his bid was delivered in mere days, weeks and months ahead of competitors. Everything was to the point and in no way misleading or trying to "gloss"or seem anything other than our discussions. He offered insights and professionalism while not over or underbidding this fairly unique "thought".
Immediately my clients couldn't believe how kind this contractor was having recently moved from out East. Immediately shared interests that had nothing to do with the building industry became commonplace as it became more and more apparent that this isn't work for Roger.
Whenever I would email or call Roger or Jake would have the answer. Right away. We had 2 fairly serious conditions (I thought) but apparently 25 years as a trim carpenter is woefully insignificant; compared to RD's crew. These issues were fixed in 5 minutes and that particular tradesman didn't even charge for it, and then went ahead and took time to teach an old man some new tricks. Admittedly I could tell I was in the way all too often and kind of pestering as this is my nature, especially acting as eyes and ears for my employer, and Roger actually appreciated it. So much so that when I would save him time by emailing he saved us money in turn.
Also Roger was the only contractor who wasn't even phased by the irregularity of my clients. The demanding nature of keeping records as to not spend too much on what was already bored money, and then somehow reinvigorating taste they forgot about and midwestern charm they now call home.
Thanks Gentlemen,
Bernie K

Our job was completed ahead of schedule and Roger was on the job everyday making sure things were done right. I chose him because of his google reviews and couldn't be happier. Will recommend.

This person is a complete crook. Unethical businessman who does not stay truthful to what he says. I wouldnt hire Roger to fix a dog house as I like my dog too much. Please fire him ASAP if you hire him.

Friends seeking home workmanship, hear this cautionary tale: DO NOT select RD Schueller as your contractor! He "misappropriated" $30,000 from us, then spontaneously "quit" the job "feeling overwhelmed", and left our family in a critical situation- without kitchen, bathroom or laundry facilities for 10 months now without a kitchen-- a situation that my family continues to try to recover from to this day-- 10 months after signing a contract with RD Schueller. Law suit pending. Be warned: my family is only one of many who have been fooled by this fool. Feel free to contact me for details! Dr. Rochelle Dalla/[email protected]; 402.515.9994
