Rick caused very expensive sprinkler damages after installating a smalll, simple fence. He seemed honest at first and provided a repair contract in December stating he would fix it in the Spring. When time came around, he bailed and refused to pay anything or fix it himself. Do NOT trust Rick Miller or pay him until the job is done to your satisfaction. Had other unrelated issues with his work being poor and turns out he is completely unethical...

*DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR* Rick left our house worse than it was before he arrived. It will cost us more to have it repaired by another contractor. Without going into an emotional rant- here are the bullet points of the poor workmanship, lazy work ethic and botched job. *SEE PHOTOS*
Job Description: Add 2 small cosmetic walls to our open floor plan to create privacy. Requirements, framing, drywall, texture, paint.
-His work hours are 10-3pm with a lunch break... which leads him to rushed work and behind schedule.
-He does not properly prepare the space or contain his material. See photos. His spackle/paint got EVERYWHERE in our home. Professional cleaners were needed to get all of it, and even weeks later I still find paint/spackle in our home yards away from his job site.
-Rick has lazy and minimal communication. Even when asked directly, how long he needed that day, or what I could do to help him, he would just say he had it covered.
-When I addressed him directly about the mess he was causing in the middle of the job he did nothing to improve or change his work.
-*HIS TEXTURING IS TERRIBLE* See photos.
-He left the job without doing a walk through or talking to me.
-He did not answer his phone ever again. Text only.
-Threatened to take me to small claims court over an ARBITRARY $ for the final work. When I told him I wanted a fair number considering how terrible the job looked, he never budged. Did not want to negotiate. Did not accept responsibility for his botched job.
-Repeated numerous times that the tool he was using for texture wasn't working right or well and continued to use it.
-Admitted on the phone to my husband that he should have never done the texturing job.
