They did some plumbing work at one of our rentals. They when any took a look at what was require to fix the leaks. They call us with a quote (all parts & labor to complete the job), and we agree to the price. They finished the job my the end of the day. Never heard from them about any changes in the price. We receive the invoice 4 days later, the the price was 30% higher then quoted. We when bad any forth with for over a month about the invoice. They keep saying (over the phone and / or my email) that we need to pay the invoice in full, or they will take us to court. We finally got them to agree to let us pay the quoted amount after I explain about what law say about change the price after quoting a job without consumers permission. And we agree to next use them again, which is not a problem for us because we do not like contractor's who are not honest.
