By RachelAugust 13, 2017Purchase & Install New Stove & Microwave$750
On March 7, 2017 I hired the owner Mike Rengel to purchase and install a new stove and microwave into a rental condo in Brooklyn Center MN. As requested I wrote him a check for $750 that day in order to make the purchases and then perform the work. Mike never purchased the items therefore never installed the items. I and my renter contacted him on multiple occasions and he would state that something had come up but he would be out to install that weekend. Finally on April 17, 2017 and again on April 28, 2017 I requested Mike to refund me the $750 in full since he had yet to purchase the items or install them into the condo. I have yet to hear from Mike. I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau.

I have had a similar experience with Mike Rengel. He quoted me $600 to install some siding on a small area of my home. He asked for $200 deposit. He installed a few pieces of siding then asked for the balance before he would finish. I graciously have him the balance as he said he desperately needed the money. It has taken many texts to him, and receiving multiple excuses as to why he cannot come. He eventually showed yesterday with his son. He installed about 6 pieces of siding. One piece looked like it had been used at a gun range, it has 15 nail holes in an area of 6”x2”… I didn’t see him leave yesterday, but he left yet again without finishing the job, and ontop of everything, him and his son left a pile of waste garbage of their empty bottles and paper trash. I have taken multiple pictures.
STAY AWAY FROM MIKE RENGEL. You WILL GET BURNED.
