  New build

  We no longer own our home but it was a nightmare when we did. The backyard flooded and we complained numerous times and nothing was done. We got our 1 year inspection done and the report had numerous issues documented with pictures. It was submitted and no one ever contacted us. Oh my goodness, too many issues to even report on here. It was a bad experience for us and it seems like something that is happening all around Colorado Springs. I don’t trust any of the builders anymore.

  I have lived in a Reunion Home built by Grant and his team for several months. I have had no issues, exceptional service, and quick responses with any of our questions or needs. We submitted a warranty claim on a small fix and we had a team of people out and correcting the issue within a day. We are in a new build in Meridian Ranch and had a great experience with the builder! It's a bummer anyone has had to experience otherwise but I can attest to being handled with great care.

  My experience with this builder was horrible and still a headache. I don't recommend this builder at all! They start building very late, your home will not be touched for months they will finish your home late and will NOT finish the defisencies! They lie to you they act like they care but they don't. My roof has not been done since the last hail storm in July 2018. Took them almost 3 months to put up my fence I had no idea what to do with my dogs but they didn't care! My main bedroom window is cracked they said they would come fix it and they have not. Owner never said thank or sorry for everything we went through throughout building our home. We are so disappointed with all of them. They have no communication skills and like I said they don't care about you they just don't care about you! Be very careful!! I would give them a zero

  Reunion homes does not follow up on there warranty work we have been in our home for 1 year and 4 months and we are still waiting for repairs to be done. Cracking and sinking concrete Bad wood floor finish. They don't follow up all they have is excuses. Do not recommend this builder.

  The builder is over-spent and, more than likely, relying on a Ponzi scheme of the building trade. They will not begin work on your house for at least 6 months after signing a contract and will not finish until 6 months after the agreed upon closing date. They are relying on the sale of the next several houses to pay the subcontractors to begin working on your house. They probably have no cash capital and are in danger of financial collapse. The owner of Reunion Homes cowers from any responsibility or ethical involvement. As long as cash (regardless of how inhumanely it is achieved) flows in, he is content with his businesses’ illicit activity.

  Reunion Homes is unresponsive to inquiries, nevertheless timelines. Their immoral attitude and indignant criminality in regards to their contractual obligations does not affect their conscience one bit. They are very well aware that there is nothing you can do to them. They will have their money and you are nothing more than asinine victim for having trusted them in the first place.

  A year after signing a contract, my house is still a poorly constructed cesspool of shoddy workmanship and abandoned projects. Expect a bait and switch with lower cost amenities and be expected to be asked if you can “live with it?” Be prepared to identify their numerous inconsistencies with your finalized build design. If it suites them and violates your agreement, there is no recourse other than “live with it.” You can also expect to have your closing delayed while attempt to remedy their horrendous workmanship. It also became apparent that my house became the company’s break room. Unflushed toilets, food in refrigerator, used microwave and even what appeared to a used dishwasher.

  The house has failed city inspection multiple times. One inspection even stated “too many to list” under the inspection findings. It is astonishing that this is considered habitable housing that meets any type of bare minimum code.

  I have completed two “final” walk-throughs (two days before closing) where the house was still nowhere near complete. It seems every time I visit the house, there is more damage than before. The last walk-through resulted in me being ignored for nearly an hour while the “construction manager” called various contractors asking if they could come over and fix the punch-list items identified the week before - this is why closing was delayed a week in the first place. Their lack of respect, shortage of professionalism and genuine uncaring attitude while inspecting their embarrassing attempt to finish a house is intolerable.

  There have been nothing but infantile excuses for the unnecessary delays and horrific workmanship. There is no honesty with Reunion Homes. Where reputation was once the backbone of any industry, it is a pointless notion with this company. They want a fast way to make money regardless of who gets burned. Your safety, welfare and peace of mind is expendable.

  It is only ironic that Reunion Homes received an “F” Rating from the Better Business Bureau. They recently improved their score, undoubtedly through unscrupulous means. It is no wonder that two local news stations have done separate scathing editorials highlighting the plight of the builder’s grieving victims. They are one of the foulest companies to evolve in Colorado Springs.

  If embezzling the fabric of Americans trust is a profitable enterprise, then Reunion Homes is the biggest offender in the construction industry. If I had the choice to do it over again, I would be more inclined to opt for a homeless shelter or heroin clinic to provide my family’s housing needs.

  Looking for a home builder? Look elsewhere. We are pushing 8 months on a projected 6 month build. The company has consistently lied to us, broken promises, and has failed 4 frame inspections. Houses built by the same company 3 months after us already have families inside. There is a general lack of communication amongst employees, general dishonesty, and poor workmanship.
