If I could give him a zero rating, I would. Almost everything he did in our kitchen had to be redone by another contractor, costing me thousands of dollars. We went with him because other contractors said we did not need a permit. He assured us he would get the permits and we were happy with that. But when pressed, he balked at getting the electrical permit. When we brought in our own electrical inspector, he looked at the work and said "What the *&%$ is that?" and "This is an obvoious attempt to deceive". When confronted with that, Rich denied any wrongdoing. Other problems we had: within 2 months, kitchen floor tiles began popping up so we had to have the floor re-done. One of the cabinets he hung came loose. He lied about an electrical problem that he "had to fix or he couldn't sleep at night" and then charged us $2000 more. he never bricked in the window that was part of the contract. This guy is the biggest con artist out there. DO NOT USE HIM!! If you see him, run!!
