    Reroofing

    Robert Carey stated that he was bonded and insured...lies! He said he would be on the jobsite everyday...lie! His worker had his 3-year old son on my roof! Two representatives from the California Contractors Board stated that Robert Carey had 16 violations after he completed my roof...16! Stay away from Robert Carey! He should be in jail...and his partner (wife), too!

    His license is suspended. He has numerous, serious citations from the CSLB. Don't ever use him.

    Terrible Contractor

    Be cautious re hiring Robert Carey. I hired him for a remodel and it was a disaster. Building inspector required us to tear down all the framing to the foundation and start over. Vertical supports missed the footings, nothing was level, did not follow the plans or engineering requirements, some footings were never poured, very little met code. I fired him and hired a new contractor. I sued him and he filed bankruptcy. He still has a contractors license but was required to up his bond to $30k. My loss was greater than that.
