    STAY AWAY from ROI Construction, LLC. Eric charges upfront and then won't show up, answer his calls or emails. We had to buy a steel beam ourselves because the one he bought was too short and he knew it. He's the typical GC where he robs Peter to pay Paul. We were left with a steel beam on the ground on the front yard, had to find someone else to finish the job, pay double to get the same job done and then he had the nerve to ask for money to close the permit. Failed inspections twice and never came back to fix it. When we sold the house, the escrow company asked why the permit was never closed and Eric once again asked for MORE money and blackmailed us, in order to get it closed. He needs to be reported to the police and state of FL. He shouldn't be a handyman, let alone a GC.

    Garage renovation to a living room

    NO, I would not suggest this contractor. Started off strong with the work, but then:

    1. 'Forgot' to order our windows and didn't feel the need to tell us this until a week before they were supposed to arrive...

    2. 5 months later - they are shipped, after we order them.

    3. Once, arrived, didn't follow any directions of what was needed - hastily put the windows in before the tile - and poorly done as well (can actually see sunlight between window tops and concrete)

    4. Numerous attempts to finish the final part of project of framing windows/doors put in, and paint outside. No word from him for 3 weeks and when he did respond he said deal with the workers yourself. Which is his job.

    5. We stated we needed it finished, or else we'd have to look elsewhere. He said, okay, just don't pay me final portion and do it yourself.

    6. During that time he had let all permits expire - so now we have to find someone to finish the job, correctly, and repay all permits he let expire

    Terrible job by someone who obviously cannot handle organization, or a crew to start and finish jobs.

    Terrible communication, lazy effort in all things he did after 1st month.

    looks to have ZERO interest in doing the work. Probably thought it would be easy $$$ grabs post COVID world and then realized actual effort needed to be put in, and now is behind on, I imagine, numerous jobs, and many upset customers.

    GO ELSEWHERE - Eric and his Co. are beyond awful.
