Do not use this company! We are stuck with them unfortunately through Lowes, and can't use someone else, but we may never get the job done at this rate. I am constantly getting the runaround. I called them on September 8, 2021, and am still waiting for a call back from them.
I have been told three times now over just the last month, that the owner would call me with an install date, only to be told when I CALLED THEM BACK, that I needed to do another step before they can give me an install date, when in fact I was never told any such thing. It's maddening.
Initially, someone named Lauren contacted me via text on Feb. 26th about changing my install date. Then they have texted random information to me on different occasions since then. Arrival window times, reminders, updates, things I needed to do for them... Never that I needed my cabinets on the same level as my kitchen. Then when they came out for the demo on August 23rd, of course, there were a couple of issues I needed to fix before they could come back. It's an old house and to be expected. I had those two things fixed by that very next day. They were supposed to call me to get me a new install date. I didn't hear back texted them on August 25th. Heard back from them on the 26th, and they said they were waiting for confirmation that the two issues were completed. I told her they were by the next day, but I assumed they couldn't make it that quickly. I just wanted to get on the schedule because of how slow everything is moving right now. I never heard anything back, So I called and left a message. Still nothing, so I texted again on Sept 8th about getting an appointment and was sent a text back that I needed to call lowes or Room by Room by phone because they don't make appointments for install over the phone. But wait! They were the first ones to start texting about dates and changes to dates. Really!?!
Also, whoever Roger is (I found his name in the pictures on their Facebook page) showed up to do my demo with a terrible attitude from the beginning. Telling me about everything that was wrong and how I needed to fix it, and move things that were in his way. Mind you no one else was home at my house but me. I could have had things moved (it was some boxes of heavy tile that I did manage and a few other bulky items but nothing unmanageable for me), had I just been informed when their other folks came out to look everything over. I was told that there should be no other trades there working because they "Don't work with other trades unless they know them!"
I don't understand people who are miserable at their job but continue to do it. If you are unhappy with what you do for a living, stay home or get a different job. By the way, I am paying you to do a job, so you might want to do it.
I am so fed up with trying to work with a company that obviously does not want the job, but I have NO choice. This company is who Lowes works with in my area. YOU HAVE A CHOICE! DON'T DO IT!
