I had extensive damage from wind storms.After Mr. Gertz took the job initally,he did not return to start work for an entire month. Some young, delingent looking guys came with him and started the electrical. They failed to even wire up all of the ceiling lights. The panel box was old and barley hanging on yet he did not update or replace it and at the end of the job, still had 3 of the fixtures just left unwired. I also needed to replace 8 foot of Rod Iron of which Mr. Gertz quoted at a staggering $6000. It priced at $150 at Home Depot. But it did not matter because he did not end up fixing that AT ALL. It is broken to this day. He signed that the work was completed and took all the insurance money but never finished the job, of which Nationwide did not seem to care. Shoddy incomplete work by non -licensed workers. When he was confronted about the job NOT being finished,I received a letter in which he said i was unsure what i was saying and that the job WAS completed. It is still not completed but Nationwide signed off on it with NO inspection and when i had the proof, they promply canceled my Homeowners insurance.I would in no way recommed Mr. Gertz for any job. He was not ever there and was quite rude when we did not agree on the quality of his work. I am now in the process of sueing both he and Nationwide.
