I should have done my homework. He was recommended to me by a friend who said he was nice and polite, which was true, but his work ethic was terrible. He kept trying to renegotiate the contract as he went along. I started to feel like I had purchased a bad used car and this salesman was trying smooth it over. In fact he never actually completed the job and I had to get another guy to come in and finish it.
