Beware of dealing with Russell Ferrel and Russells Customs!
This company is not bonded or insured! We checked! This company cannot get building permits without insurance.
We were refered to Russell's Custom's from a friend of a friend. We hired his company to remodel our home without checking out his credentials. (our first mistake)During our remodeling project we paid Mr. Ferrel of Russell's Customs money upfront at each phase of our remodeling and found out that he was not paying his vendors, sub contractor's or employees. These vendors and sub contractors can lean your property! You are taking a big chance working with him and are lucky if he finishes your project.
My experience with this company did not go very well. Russell was not very organized and was often showed up late. When his workers informed me that he was not paying them for the work they performed I wanted to just pull the plug on the project but at this point we were to far into the project and were afraid that we would not get our money returned.
Our project started off well but started delaying in the middle and dragged out at the end! We found the delays were do to Russell's Custom's disorganization and the workers not getting paid for there work on our home.
We have a second phase of out project and will use another reputable licensed and insured contractor this time. We would recommend that everyone steer clear of this outfit! We learned a lot from our mistakes and will make better choices with future hires!
