S and G Custom Builders built a Custom Home in Temecula, Ca for my wife and me.
Ed Stevens is the Owner of S and G Custom Builders and the General Contractor. We had some issues with the finished product and because S and G Custom Builders would not fix them we filed a complaint with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). The Contractors State License Board, after almost a year of review and an inspection by a CSLB appointed Inspector ruled that 4
Items did not meet acceptable Trade Standards and issued an official Admonishment to be on the CSLB website for at least a year. Still S and G will not fix these items, even after several requests from me to do so. I would caution anyone from doing business with S and G Custom Builders and having to go through what my wife and I have been going through. The items needing repair and confirmed by the CSLB Inspector are :
1. Banging in pipes when toilets flush
2. Master Bath sinks not connected to hot water recirculating pump
3. Section of concrete patio puddles water and will not drain off
4. 3 doors with mini blinds in them which were replaced and sent to me because the Manufacturer deemed them defective but S and G Custom Builders refuses to install them.
We paid S and G Custom Builders once when the house was constructed and don’t feel that we should have to pay another Contractor to fix these problems for which S and G Custom Builders is responsible.
