    House was flooded upstairs, garage.
    $23,000

Please pay attention to the negative reviews!!!

Against my better judgment my husband gave them a shot after I told him they
had a lot of bad reviews. The project manager said "yea we're trying to change that, we'll get right on your job and should have you done within 3 or 4 weeks. 5 months later!!!

Samson/Servpro/Ardnos, Inc. are owned by the same people. Samsom is now 5 months into a 3 week job. They have had to replace the same bathroom floor 3 times. And according to their own floor guy it needs torn up a 4th time and he left. They have broken the plumbing pipes twice, and flooded it and the new carpet, having to call in Servpro twice!!! Said oh we'll take care of it replace your carpet, 2 days later "well we'll clean your carpet." Then they tried to turn it in to our insurance without our knowledge. They do not man the jobsite and when their is somebody that finally shows up they flood the place or don't have a clue what they should be doing. It's not up to the homeowner, it's the project supervisor's job to tell them what is to be done. Then comes the attitude of we are a company doing you a favor of just showing up a couple of days just to mess your home up for 5 months, "your just way to picky". Then try to just "give us our money back". You've taken 5 months for a 3 week job". My house has more damage than before you started. Now I have to fix what you were hired to do!!! Wow, just wow!!! I can't even explain how angry I am!!!

    replace hardwoods
    $30,000

By far the WORST customer service I have experienced to date. When you look for a company to fix an issue, you expect to be able to trust them. From the first meeting where our project manager was late (which he blamed on his children), we had issues. We were originally quoted a fix time of 10 days. Since they were replacing all of the hardwoods in our home due to water damage, we thought this was reasonable. One week in, living in a hotel with two small children and two dogs, they had not even finished the demo. Dry wall in our garage was half done and there were days that no one even showed. Week two, they managed to cut our water line, leaving us without water and more damage. Any time we had a question or complaint about how things were progressing or timelines, we were met with excuses. I, personally called to speak to someone and was basically treated like a subhuman, being a woman. Completely demeaning and when I called them out on it, shot down. A week and a half into our second hotel stay, they claimed to be finished, but we came home to dust and chaos and unfinished baseboards and dry wall. Every inch of the experience was tedious, lazy, condescending and finally they tried to charge more once they found out the amount OUR insurance company paid us to pay them. On top of all of that, the floors are done very poorly and the only way to have them done correctly would be to rip them out completely and start again. Horrible work and incomplete.
Completely unprofessional and crooks, not to mention rude. DO NOT use this company. You will regret it.

Entire home rebuild due to fire
    $300,000

We lost our home to a lightning strike in Feb 2020. Went with Samson Construction as they are associated with ServPro (who by the way did a good job). Took almost 2 years for the work to be completed. They kept having to redo work due to shoddy workmanship - and things are STILL not right to this day, but we just don't want them back in our home. They knew EXACTLY how much insurance coverage we had and blew through every bit of it. People were fired and some left because of what we went through. Never, ever let these people near your home. We had to threaten an attorney to even get them moving. Communication is pretty much non-existent UNLESS you constantly call, text and email them. Just run...

    kitchen remodel
    $28,000

I have no idea who these people have dealt with at Samson but I would like to say that my experience with Freddy and Wilson was top notch. They handled my project expertly and with no issues whatsoever. They bent over backwards to make sure that we were happy and completely satisfied.

Remove wallpaper and paint, install LVP flooring... basic home improvement projects

Absolute joke of a company. Left an unattached hand rail in our home for months before finally coming out and “fixing” it. Freddy Hughes, Mike Rimbley and Wilson George have no idea what they are doing. An electrician from Nations Electric referred to the wiring Samson did on our home as “Elementary” and Wilson George himself stated that the electrician gave him a lecture about how shotty the work their crew did and how it was a huge safety hazard. They were missing 5 balusters for our stair set... they found 5 mismatched balusters and tried to literally grind the edges down on the wrong balusters to make them “match” the correct ones that had a bronze finish... The list of awful things that they’ve done is too long to type. 6 months and no completion of our project. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSON CONSTRUCTION.

    Basement renovation
    $54,000

Unresponsive, no communication with the project manager, Nathan Frazier or his boss, who allegedly came by to make sure everything was ready for the county inspectors before the insulation and drywall can start. Only the plumbing inspector came and he has issues with the work. We have questions about the electrical, which we have had no response. The project should be done already and it’s not even halfway complete. Still no communication and no work being done. We paid them more than half the projects cost on 9/22/2020, and on 12/28/2020, the project is NOT even halfway done. Terrible.

Repair damage cause by a flood
    $50,000

What a terrible company!!! We had so many issues I don’t even know where to start. Our home flooded and we had extensive damage. They assigned Mike Stone as the PM. Mike repeatedly gave us wrong information. He wouldn’t return calls or emails. There subcontractors did a horrible job and we had to have them repaint 4 rooms. They tried to change prices of things and laugh when we caught them. Terrible customer service period! Never met one deadline, not one in the two months that we worked with them. Just horrible!!!!!

    Bathroom remodel
    $10,000

    RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

In late Dec 2019 the water inline to our guest bathroom toilet popped off and flooded a bathroom. We had to demo it and go through abatement. B/c insurance was covering the majority of those costs we decided to demo the other bathroom (shares a wall). Samson’s sales person, Ron, said the full project once demoed of getting two small bathrooms remodeled would take 1.5 weeks. We were told we would work with a designer on this project. LIES! The project started the first week of February and they didn’t finish until the last week in April. Entire houses were built in our neighborhood in that timeframe. We never worked with a designer and every time I asked to be introduced my requests were ignored or I was told she would not be able to help in order to get our project done on time.

We worked with 3 project managers because the first 2 got fired! Jesse was 1st and was very unresponsive, made us purchase things that Samson was supposed to purchase, wouldn’t show up when he said, would stay until 11pm at night on holidays, smoked in our house, and had no idea what his subcontracting crews were doing. One of the subcontracting crews STOLE $600 CASH from our house. He talked on the phone to people about how awful the Samson company was and that he was getting his resume together to leave. My husband and I went on a trip in late February where Jesse told us the work would be done when we got back, LIE! We got home from a late flight at 1:00 in the morning with NO WORKING SHOWERS OR TOILETS!! I sent many messages that went unanswered to Jesse throughout this entire project, we left multiple voicemails with Samson’s main line that were never returned, and the only way we ever got a response from the company was my husband leaving a review on Google that was negative (it’s since been removed after requests from Samson for him to do so, I bet there are others that have been taken down because of Samson).

Our 2nd project manager, Sam, and Freddy Hughes showed up at my house to a disaster. Our house was filthy and dusty b/c the subs had done all tile cutting in doors instead of outside. Freddy took his finger and swiped it across my kitchen counter, held it up covered in dust, looked at me and said “That’s disgusting”. They walk out and my husband has to follow up multiple times to finally get a cleaning service at our house. They decided that we had to basically start over because of the poor quality of work the first crew did.

Things continue to move slowly and the quality is still only sub par, but Sam stops responding to messages and that's when we hear from our 3rd project manager, Tyler. He says “Sam is sick and I’ll be taking over”. I later find out that is a lie and Sam also either left or was fired from Samson. Tyler had the audacity to tell me that he doesn like subway tile (which I picked on my own) and that the floor tile I picked usually is ugly in his opinion.

There is A LOT of other terrible things that happened like one of the crews punched a huge hole into the brand new never used bathtub and Samson tried to argue with me that all they should have to do is patch it rather than buy a new tub, they broke brand new lights I purchased, people showed up with no idea why they were there or what they were supposed to be working on, they actually used a piece of white tape on our door frame for one of the bathrooms to cover up a big hole that they didn't feel like repairing. TOTAL CRAP.

The final disaster was when it came to paying the final bill they had NO IDEA what services had or had not been performed, what we had to purchase that they were supposed to purchase, etc. etc. and had the nerve to send us a final bill for the full estimate. THIEVES!! I requested multiple times for an itemized invoice for the final bill and they ever could provide it. I called them out on it and ultimately they were trying to charge us almost $4000 more than they should have.
