Permits

Installed a deck for me attaching to a vinyl sided house and didn’t follow building code. They DID NOT install flashing, J-channel, blocking between joists, undersized lag screws and undersized lag bolts. Not installing the flashing and J-channel caused water to leak into the house and attracted carpenter ants. I had to pay an exterminator to kill the carpenter ants and another contractor to fix the problems with water and building code issues. I would not recommend SAW Remodeling. Poor workmanship.
