I just purchased a new home. Jay Schulte was responsible for the plumbing. In the house, there was one showerhead that was loose and jiggled when grabbed. The developer told us to contact Jay as it was too complicated to try and fix ourselves. I contacted him and left a message describing the problem. He did not call back. Two weeks later, he called to inform me that he had sent some workers by the prior week and we weren't home so they left. My wife and I both work so we told him we need to know in advance so we can meet them. He said he would send another employee the following morning. Noone came. I called later that morning and left a message inquiring when I should return to work and not remain waiting. No response.
I tried calling again a week later and he picked up the phone. He told me that the employee knocked on our door and then left when we didn't answer. I told him I wasn't sure how we missed each other but let's set up a 2nd attempt. He told me he would call back. After several days, I called him and left a message. No response. I left one final message and ... no response. For the most part, the work is fine. I have an issue with his follow-up and commitment to honoring a one-year warranty on work. To put in context, this is the month of January so he shouldn't be swamped and overwhelmed like it was summer. I just can't excuse this type of unprofessional behavior.
