    #1 home builder for a reason

    Scott Mackie has built two homes for my husband and me and we couldn't be happier. He also built most of the homes in our neighborhood, as well as my brother's neighborhood and we have never heard anything but extremely positive comments about the quality of his homes and the ease of working with him. He is very thorough and trustworthy. If you have any doubt about hiring him, just interview some of his customers and you'll see why he has been the #1 custom home builder in our county for many years. I think "Mark from Rising Sun" must be a competitor who is trying to deceive people with a manufactured review.

    Disrespectful

    Destroyed part of my backyard fence while working on my neighbors house. 10 weeks later and its still a mess with nothing but lip service. What kind of contractor destroys someones property and ignores it? Not one that I would hire or recommend. Disgraceful.

    He gets a 1 because there is nothing lower. He puts in a low bid to get the job and throws in his "extras" at the completion of the job. When it comes to calling him back to take care of ''warranty'' items he will not stand by his work. He is a shady untrustworthy builder who puts out a substandard product. i would have him build an outhouse!!!!!
