Highly recommend Wilson Pickett of Seacoast Construction Richmond Hill. He has built over 750 homes in the area as of summer, 2019 or possibly more. They use 16 on center framing instead of prefab trusses 24 inches apart, architectural shingles and are one of the few in the spec business still using a custom cabinet maker with real wood cabinetry versus competitors using boxed or boxed and imported cabinetry. Also uses spray foam on the attic rafters. Offers a 2-10 warranty.

By Jed K.July 11, 2018NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION
Bought a new home in Richmond Hill in Kenmare. The lot isnt graded properly and Wilson Pickett who owns Seacoast Construction refuses to fix the problem properly. My lawn has standing water and any true storm will put water in my house. Beware of the homes in this development and especially this builder.

We are in the middle of our second major insurance claim to repair damage that Wilson Pickett caused by his substandard construction. Two complete bathroom renovations necessitated by improperly installed shower pans that rotted floors, joists, and exterior walls cost over $40K and the current repairs were caused by an improperly constructed foundation with inadequate ventilation that resulted in a mold infestation that caused severe structural deterioration and required jacking our entire house up, replacing joists, and causing subsequent interior damage to floors, walls, trim, etc. This project will end up costing over $150K. Buyer beware! We were smitten with his sales pitch, and the houses he built that he showed us looked wonderful. It's all lipstick, though. Wilson cuts corners, lies, and will not stand behind his product or services after closing. Look elsewhere! Zero stars....
