These people are incompetent at best and more likely negligent/fraudulent. They provided an estimate for mold remediation than deliberately excluded 70% of the infestation. It was 20% more than there closest competitor, but if they had added the additional 70% it would have been 120% more. ($20,000 for a small basement).
These people apparently have a business built on the fact that if your insurance pays, they will bill you blind. Knowing fully well you won't argue. If your insurance doesn't pay, they stop returning calls and emails, even if the mold and water destroy your house as you try to reach someone to save your home
