I was very pleased with my decision to move forward with Mr. Shaner’s company as my contractor for my bathroom and kitchen remodels. I had bids from 3 companies and I felt that Mr. Shaner was most competitive and he explained to me the choice of materials he would be using. They were not generic brands, but brands I have heard of. Mr. Shaner told me what to expect during the remodels and to let me know if I had any concerns and to please feel free to ask questions during the process. This made me feel comfortable with him and his choice of subcontractors coming into my home (as I was not always home during the time work was being done). My kitchen and bath were very outdated and he helped me turn my ideas into an actual concept. I knew what I wanted, but was not sure how to make it happen. Mr. Shaner came up with different scenarios to meet my needs and to make my bathroom and kitchen not only updated, but more user friendly. My bathroom not only looks great, but is very functional. My kitchen has always been my homes centerpiece, but now it seems like a work of art. It definitely works better when a family is trying to cook, the layout has a working flow to it now. Mr. Shaner did not try to push fancy material that will look outdated within a year or so. He listened to what I wanted and it shows. I plan on using Shaner Construction again - he is currently working on a design to finish the lower level of my home.
