About as unprofessional as you can get.
Showed up hours late to give a bid, no phone call. No big deal,, right? Nope - When another plumber showed up before Dan Gode (owner) left, he stalked out in a huff, told me I was "unethical." No bid, just a muddy floor, wasted time.
Is this High School? Awful, awful experience.

The worst imaginable service - how do they stay in business? Or maybe they are about to be out of business it appears (& should be). They don't tell you that the Georgetown business went out of business & it is just one guy operating out of what appears to be his house in Elgin with 1 other worker & a ton of excuses about not being available. They said they were done except for the inspection & had us pay $1,700. A month went by & we did not here from them in any way & they did not return calls at all. When we finally reached them they were extremely rude & condescending with every interaction. They never did apologize for disappearing & not informing us if they ever planned to complete the gas hookup for our pool. Then after a great deal of grief from them when they finally completed it, they left & there was a strong serious gas leak. They did come back an hour or so later & fix the gas leak. Avoid Buffy's Plumbing at all costs. They are highly unprofessional & can not be trusted at all. Would give zero stars or better yet negative stars. They left a muddy mess for over a month, left us hanging whether they would ever complete the project after taking our money. Both the owner & the one worker were so very disrespectful & just awful to deal with in every way!
