By Sylvia H.January 21, 2024Water damage: kitchen renovation, flooring, walls and paint$43,000
Horrible service! Don't deal with these people. Water damage: took them over a year- I had to live in my house without kitchen sink, stove, refrigerator and floors. This affected my living room, den, family room and bathroom..They finally installed floors ( 1 1/2 year later) and they damaged All my door jambs. Tgey will not return your calls. They kept putting my excuses for why they couldnt finish the job. They never resolved that issue of my damaged door jambs etc with me but continue to charge and falsify information to insurances to get paid what they want. Their workers are not experienced and have very poor work ethics; thrash from work they done and without a response. They continue to ignore me by not responding to me about the damages to my house yet they continue to send me unpaid invoices.. Terrible service DONT DONT make the same mistake I did.

By J. W.December 1, 2022AAA Homeowners Policy hired for restoration after water damage.Read more
I recently had them put back our condo unit after other contractor crews did the removal of our unit from water damage from the condo above us.
1st off I would like to say they did a good job (working or being paid by an insurance company), but if they worked for my late father who was a highly respected Interior Decorator (his clients included the V.P of Lays Potato Chips & original owner & founder of Pacific Sales) he would not call them back for additional work.
I expected them to know about or have knowledge of painting two different surfaces w/two different undercoating colors would not match when when painting or acoustic ceiling is applied (my ceiling & walls now have two different shades (one area is white & the other is almond). But I can't blame them completely, because it may have been that way when they were done building the building? And they may have never done this kind of job before by this foreman? So he may not of known what would happen in completing that type of work? But what I am mostly upset with is that we had a crack line in our ceiling between the dining room and the living room. I pointed out that that needed to be filled in, but I was ignored and now we still have a crack line showing after the work was done when applying the acoustic ceiling.
I also now understand why Construction Companies for home repair or work advertising that they leave the place cleaner then they arrived to do the job. They left our balcony furniture stacked on top of each other, as well as left over box of something that I am not sure if it can be tossed in a landfill (plus it's heavy enough that it would be hard for me to carry to the trash bin in our building downstairs with my physical condition), and paint splatters on the balcony decking as well as door frames & windows. Not to mention they failed to paint a strip of wall between our two sliding glass doors. And even though my insurance company is paying for all this and not me, the foreman ordered or purchased two time or more then the job required (5 gal of paint but only used 1.5, telling me there was 3.5 gal left over).
I tried to call the contact person who showed up to do the original job inspection, and left a message of my complaints as well as asking them to sending back a crew to fix things before our furniture was returned and we moved back in. Not hearing back from them after several days, I called again asking the original inspector person to do a walk through with me so I could point out what his company was failing to do in the job they were hired for. But I have not heard back from them after several weeks (but understanding time off for Thanksgiving holiday). So all I can tell you... Don't do like we did and give them the insurance check at the beginning of the job.
PS.. We also paid extra to have the inside of our front door to be painted. They charged us $350, explaining that they had to remove the door and fixtures (door handles) before painting. But I was at the unit just after they painted it, They did not remove the door and only taped off the door handle, so why were we charged for work not done as explained. All I can think of is that they want money for work not done and over bought paint so they could charge more money to the insurance company so they all get paid more.

By Tesha C.April 26, 2022Repair water damage$9,000
They don’t communicate well. They will call you and ask if they can come out the next day to take pictures and measurements then you won’t hear from them for 19 days after that visit. Then when you do it’s to ask you questions about the pictures they took. Horrible management of our water damage repair. Horrible customer service. Lots of finger pointing but nothing is ever their fault. Our bathroom was gutted in December 2021 due to water damage from our shower. It’s the end of April 2022 and the bathroom is still gutted even though our plumber has repair the leak and we have passed inspection. I wouldn’t trust them repairing our dogs leaking roof on his dog house.
