I am on the board of a cooperative apartment building in Forest Hills, NY. We were introduced to Skylark by our new management company. So far, every job they have done for us has been excellent - they do quality work, don't damage fixtures in the building (an issue we have had with other contractors) and best of all - when they are done, our residents are happy with the results and what they fixed, STAYS FIXED.
We have had them replace hardwood floors, redo hallway ceilings, and numerous other projects both in individual apartments and common areas.
I hired them to do some work in my own apartment as well, and I am very pleased with the results - the workers were extremely careful and did high-quality work. Their attention to detail was frankly better than I had even expected. They replaced a wall and repainted it after there was a leak. Then they retiled my bathroom floor, replaced my sink, and are scheduled to come back and replace two interior doors that I have been wanting to replace for a while.
Can't recommend them highly enough!

Has done work for my home (roof, new terra cotta liner, chimney brick rebuild, cap, gutters, etc.) and was prompt and courteous. Work was excellent; cleaned up and hauled away garbage as required. No more leaks and no more crumbling chimney. Price was very very reasonable. Much less than the quote from another local company.
