    I just recently bought a small house and needed a lot of work. So I called the Small House solution. A guy name Josh was late on our first meeting. Ok, not a big deal but then He told me that I should be able to get an estimate by Thursday which was two weeks ago. I have called them and emailed them for an estimate then their response was write a detail email of what you are trying to do. That was the point of the onsite meeting!!!! That was why YOU said we will get an estimate two weeks ago. Then it takes them minutes to respond for reviews.

    Before contacting this place I read another review like mine about SHS but I thought ok well that's just punctuality/response problem... well now I'm realizing that is a bigger loss than what you imagine because nothing is done and my weeks are gone.

    Jason from your bird eye view did you not see I asked for an estimate three times then you missed your own deadline? I waited because gave you the benefit of the doubt. But since March 1st the day Josh came out you can't even provide a customer with a rough estimate? which you guys promised over 16days ago. I am not asking you to build a house in weeks just a rough estimate. Then you blame it on to the customer for writing the review. If you were professional you would have suggested the second appointment yourself and thought about how to organize yourself better.

    Never hired them because they canceled 18 minutes before the consultation.

    I saw the good reviews and made an appt with them for 3:00. That morning Josh calls to find out more about the job. He later says that I can’t make two rentals because it’s zoned sf2 which is single family. He confirmed that he would be coming at 3:00. At 2:42 I get a text saying they were declining the job and would not come to the appointment. At 2:46, I get two texts saying he’s coming. I texted back that I was going to write a review for canceling at the last minute. He called me to try and get me not to write the review. I don’t know how they build, but they are very RUDE. He obviously knew that canceling 18 minutes before an appointment that was confirmed 4 times online and verbally once was not the right thing to do. They will never build anything for me. Companies that treat people this way will treat you this way too.
