Spence William Nutter
Owner
Spence Nutter, owner, was the general contractor on a large, difficult job. The work included a foundation, large patios, sidewalks, 2 story redwood deck and railings, and railings, stairs and walkways on the first level. He replaced 6 sliding glass doors with 5 large windows and one slider, new doors, bathroom remodel and tile, electrical and sheetrock. Spence was on the job at 8 am everyday scheduled and maintained a clean job site throughout the entire job. When the plans progressed and needed decisions and recommendations he provided great info to address the challenges with my old house and elevation challenges. He keeps his word, has a large bases on subcontractors who like to work with Spence because he is good at what he does but also an honest fair man to work with. My anxiety over this huge undertaking was relieved because of his consistent hands on management. He was here on most days and always lined up contractors and met them on the job. Jeff Menard works with Jeff and together they are excellent craftsmen and quick. It was quite impressive. If you needed a reference, you could talk to Spence to discuss contact. My house used to be nicknamed 'the sister to the WInchester Mystery House". You hardly recognize it now, have to find a new nickname. You won't have to worry about your job with Spence and Jeff who are hands on the entire job. Good luck.
