Steve Powers 7 years ago put a roof on our house. With the shingles that he used the roof should have lasted us about 30 years. With in the last year we have developed a very large leak that has resulted in major damage to our ceilings and walls. We had to have another roofer come in to fix the back roof. This roofer found that Steve left out important materials like Ice and Water, he had also put the chimney boot on backwards. But what has been the worse with all this we found out that there was 4 layers of shingles on our roof. When we should only have two. So this means he did not strip a layer off when he did the roof. Very poor work ethics. When emailed about the problems we were having his wife said that she would tell Steve but we never heard back from him. Now we had to waste another 4 grand to redue his screw up.
