Barb Sheele took advantage of us. She misrepresented Sunstar Heating and Aire. We trusted her. That was our big mistake. Hired to repair our failing air conditioning unit, her company made things worse and attempted to profit from their inept work. We’ve heard of people taking advantage of senior citizens but this is our first experience. They were always late, they left a mess, they were always smoking, etc. The list just goes on and on. The biggest issue was their inability to do what they were hired for, to repair our AC unit! The next door neighbors’ kids would have done a better job than Sunstar Heating & Aire. Finally, we hired JMAC Heating and Cooling in Mesa. They were great.

My husband and I were cheated by Sunstar Heating & Aire and Barbara Sheele from Mesa, Arizona. The ineptitude and brash attitude are a formula for catastrophe. You might consider hiring a company more professional than Sunstar Heating & Aire. After looking at all of the complaints filed against them on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website, we eventually got Degree Air Conditioning & Heating to come over to our house. WOW, what a tremendous difference!

It is with great displeasure and disgust, we dealt with the company SUNSTAR HEATING and AIRE with their owner BARBARA SHEELE. The initial irritation began with our expectation of their service employees to show up on time. Normally, that would have not been overshadowed. However, SUNSTAR HEATING and AIRE out did themselves by wrongly working on our system. Specifically, their misdiagnosis of our pilot light problem for our heater. Their ineptitude and high level of being arrogant caused us severe problems. After finally being fed up with their issues, we received proper, professional assistance from Evans Air Conditioning and Heating. The difference between these two companies is like the difference between a bicycle and a helicopter. Ironically, the service fees from both companies are the same but the service is much, much different.

We had an extremely negative experience with Sunstar Heating & Aire. My wife and I expected service performed for an average cost. The work performed by their technicians was done wrong. Their team is Second to All. The Sunstar Heating & Aire employees are terrible. Providing customers with top notch service is not their priority. Sunstar Heating & Aire is not a winning team. They are at the bottom of the barrel of their industry. They have no accountability. Our air conditioner was low on refrigerant. Sunstar Heating & Aire undercharged our unit at installation and it leaked. They should have fixed the leak, tested the repair, and then charged the system with the correct amount of refrigerant. Sunstar did NOT do that. Sunstar technicians failed to have the refrigerant charge exactly match the manufacturer's specification. Finally, we called Mason Mechanical Heating & Cooling. They fixed everything and said the work done by Sunstar Heating & Aire should be considered fraud.

The extremely poor experience we had with Barbara Sheele is only surpassed by the frustrating low-quality service Sunstar Heating & Aire provided. We would NOT advise anyone to use this company. After realizing our mistake, we finally called George Brazil. They fixed all of the problems Barbara Sheele and Sunstar Heating and Aire created. It's really depressing to have to deal with this. See the dent on our unit they provided "free" of charge. This was next to a pile of trash they also left for us to clean up.

Unfortunately, Sunstar Heating (Barb Sheele) gave us a negative experience. They ruined our unit. To add insult to injury, they left a huge mess in our yard.

This business, Sunstar Heating and Aire, is NOT trustworthy. They tried to greatly increase the price of their low standard work on our air handler even though they gave us a quote in writing. They left a mess. They were always late with excuses. We had a feeling they were trouble when they first showed up and parked right in front of our garage door.

Our family was ripped off by Sunstar Heating and Aire located out of Mesa, Ariozna. We do not recommend them for anything. They constantly showed up late. They were not professional. We should have chosen a company with ethics.

Sunstar Heating & Aire stole money from us. During August 2017 with the extreme heat and humidity of Arizona, our air conditioner broke down. With a family of five, medications and pets, we were desperate to find relief. We made an absolutely huge mistake by contacting Barbara Sheele at Sunstar Heating & Aire. She installed a supposed brand new unit that failed days after the installation. What is just as shocking is the lack of support from the Better Business Bureau and the Registrar of Contractors at the State of Arizona. Come to find out Sunstar Heating & Aire pays both of them money. When the money isn't paid, that's when they take action. We now have a lawyer and are posting this on all sites to warn everyone.
