Roy sat down with us and listened to our ideas about replacing a very formal fireplace, with a stone, more casual one. We talked about several other ideas, as well, that would help make the transition (from formal, to comfortable) in our family room. I think it was the next day, that he brought us a detailed estimate, that included everything we had discussed. The cost of each idea was given, so we could add to, or subtract from the list. We tweaked a few things, and in no time, he had our completed contract ready.
We were impressed with the timeline he offered (of course, we wanted to start immediately, and have it done, yesterday).. It seemed overnight, he had his guys assembled, and ready to start.
He brought in his team of, painters, cabinetmakers, and electricians, that we were completely comfortable with. They were all professionals, showed up on time, as scheduled, and went out of their way to please us. Our stonemason was a true artist, that produced a custom fireplace exactly as we designed. I hope Roy will post a finished picture, showing the artistry of this gentleman.
Roy’s guys were careful with our house, cleaned up every afternoon, and were cheerful and punctual. We made a few changes as we went, and the guys always rolled with the punch, and created exactly what we wanted.
We would happily recommend Tartan Homes, to anyone choosing a company to make changes, create additions, or remodel parts of their home. Roy and his guys certainly get a thumbs up from us, and five stars just aren’t enough to rate the company, or our finished project.

My experience with Tartan Homes was great from start to finish. Everyone was courteous and professional. My bathroom remodel turned out better than I could have imagined. I absolutely love it. This remodel could not have gone any better.
