Team Caminero gets our highest recommendation for repairing and re-stucco’ing our exterior walls. Here’s why:
• Jose Caminero, the general contractor, came within a day to give us an estimate. Work began that very afternoon to prep the walls.
• Jose suggested we tint the stucco to our preferred color, which was included in the estimate. That suggestion alone saved us several hundred dollars in priming and painting.
• Jose continued to be ultra-responsive throughout the project by responding to our texts within 60 seconds of my sending them. No exaggeration. No kidding. Very responsive.
• The team – Andres, Gregory and Jose (not the general contractor) - arrived on time at 8 AM sharp. They never took even a minute’s break. Benito and 2 other guys came on the last day to apply the finish coat.
• The teams were respectful of our property, were courteous and pleasant.
• All patios and garden beds were protected by tarps. No damage was done anywhere.
• The job took place on 3 consecutive Saturdays. This allowed the base stucco layer to dry before applying the final coat. The job site was spotless at the end of each day.
• One issue came up regarding how the repair to part of the wall was to be done. Jose resolved the issue immediately and to our full satisfaction. He was on vacation at the time, and still responded within minutes! Jose lives up to his mantra, “Work will be done to the client’s satisfaction”. This is not just a slogan. Jose believes the work should be done in the right way so that both he and the client are happy.
• The quality of the work was superior. This was to be a smooth finish – and it was verrrry smooth. These are master craftsmen.
In summary, work started the day we received the estimate. The materials were of the highest quality. The craftsmanship was of the highest quality. The teams worked very well together and were efficient. And, the price was reasonable.
I give Team Caminero my highest recommendation.
