    There was not a day that we did not have drama around the project. Project lead appeared incapacitated frequently. Electricians inept- pulled up boards in the attic for can lights and left them. Did not ground switches. Plumbing not installed properly. Too many issues to mention. No quality oversight. Paid additional to have the poor work repaired. Nightmare!

    BUYER BEWARE: Past performance Is not Indicative of future results. Baywood promised to complete a major repair and renovation project in 4 months. In that time, they performed minimal work, completing nothing more than the demolition task. They put up a small amount of drywall and the workmanship was inferior, with seam gaps, uneven boards, and ragged edges. They offered numerous excuses and performed a few hours of work per day on the days when someone showed up. The only acceptable work was done by their electrical and plumbing subs. Then they announced plans to file for bankruptcy, although no claim has been filed as of this date (8/24/2017), robbing me of over $50,000, and the electrical company is threatening to file a mechanics lien to recover money I've already paid to Baywood

    I regret hiring Baywood Design/Build Group. They have been dragging their feet on our kitchen remodel for 14 months. Owner, Brett Schoolnik lied to us about getting the job done. In fact, the disreputable Schoolnik sabotaged the job by not ordering materials. Schoolnik presents himself as a serious builder but we were deceived. Baywood should be ashamed of treating us, their customer, so disrespectfully and Schoolnik has shown us his dishonesty and lack of ethics.

    -employee was completely unprofessional. Spoke negatively everyday about his boss, the owner Brett.
    -would come 3-4 hours later than planned even after promising to come earlier, and then leave several hours early
    -would take extra long to complete job while complaining about how much he didn't want to do the work or how the work was "beneath him"
    -when I told the owner Brett, he simply did not care much nor offer any remediation for the delays
    -there are many better contractors out there, Owner did not seem sympathetic to why took 2 months to complete this small job
