Jerry Miller (and his company Morningstar Construction) has abandoned the project that we hired him for. He was hired to be the general contractor on a remodeling project of our home that he said would take 6 weeks. He didn't pay a number of the subcontractors that did work here that we paid him for and he didn't purchase materials that we paid him for. He left us with an unlivable construction zone of a house and stopped responding to us for a week or two after picking up a check to buy tile. We finally got him on the phone where he admitted that he no longer had any money. We have learned that he has done this to at least several other clients as well.
