Urbano presents as a very personable man, very helpful. His quotes are misleading, and didn't explain fees or purchases well at all, I lost total faith in the honesty of what I was being charged. He also tried to reuse water damaged materials, and played it off as though he was saving me money, & only when I asked why it was being reused did he admit to using it, & tell me I had a credit because he had reused material. The insurance ear marked this material to be replaced, & he chose not to. I found out after the fact how expensive his electrical & dry wall work costs, this was not included in the quote I was given, so I advise you to get those up front if you risk hiring him. Part of my project was covered under insurance, another part was covered out of pocket. With the insurance quote, he tried to over charge me for materials, when this was pointed out he adjusted the price, but suspiciously the costs for the work out of my pocket was pretty high, which he explained was his fee for electrical & dry wall, even though the drywall work covered by insurance all added up. I had other contractors advising me the fees I was being charged were inflated, but with the work done, & my desire to get away from Urbano & The Krew Construction, I chose to just pay & move on. I would never hire him again, & would advise others to be very diligent with quotes & contracts with him.
