I worked hard for Jesse Thomas for four days and then quit because of his unprofessionalism etc. When I told him I was quitting and wanted to get paid for my work, he told me to call him. I've been calling since but getting no response.
Someone else hired the same day as I also quit.
If I could rate him lower than a one star, I would.

Thomas Built Construction was contracted in November 2011 to build an addition to my house. Jesse Thomas (the owner) was perfect right up until he received an advance payment to purchase materials, etc. He received the advance in February 2012, and work began on the initial site preparation. This included stump removal, grading, laying block for the foundation, drain lines and gravel for the concrete pad. This work was completed within the first week of having received the advance. About 2 weeks later, the subcontractor that performed the initial site work came to my house and indicated he had not been paid for his work. I contacted Jesse and he assured me it was a minor misunderstanding and that he would handle it. From that moment until now (almost 8 months later), Jesse nor any of his subs have stepped foot on my property and no additional work has been performed. Repeated requests for the return of the money and attempts to meet with or contact Jesse go days or sometimes weeks without acknowledgement. Multiple deadlines have been missed or ignored. All of the advance money is gone. He purchased a truck and paid subs from other projects not associated with my build. At this point, formal complaints have been filed with the BBB, DPOR and local authorities. Waiting to see how these avenues pan out before pursuing the matter with full legal recourse.

Jesse Thomas hired us to provide dumpster service at a job location in Schuyler. He has given us one story after another and has not paid his invoices for the work we performed. Unfortunately, this has resulted in a lien on the residence where we provided the work and the home owner has been notified. The home owner informed us that Jesse has taken money and failed to return to complete the work. DO NOT use Jesse Thomas or you will lose your money!
