I had a lot of work by Thunder Plumbing over the years. A few years back they replaced my water heaters. The vents were not properly aligned and had a bad backdraft that melted the top of the water heater. When I called them back I still had to pay for them to come out and realign the vents. They also found that my chimney was filled with debris up to the vents. They cleaned out my chimney and replace the vents. I was charged full price for this as well. When they replaced the vents some debris fell into my tenants furnace. When my tenant turned on the furnace the debris destroyed to motor. I had to then replace the furnace ($1200). When I spoke to Henry, the owner, he took no responsibility for the damage caused by the debris and even denied that the water heaters weren’t properly vented in the first place. Skip forward to today. At the same time I had the vents and chimney replaced and cleaned out I also asked them to replace a dripping valve in my bathroom. I was charged $80. Within a year the valve started dripping again. I went to Home Depot and bought another new valve. When I was pulling apart the valve to replace I tried to take off the plate inside the wall. It was too small to remove. I had to break away some tile in order to remove it. They never replaced the valve. There was no way they could of removed the plate and removed it from the hole in the wall. If you do business with Thunder make sure you keep an eye on the people who come out. I’m waiting to see what other corners were cut in other jobs I had them do. I would not recommend Thunder to anyone. Beware.
