Great experience working with TNT Construction. Tom had great ideas, lots of experience and a vision how the project would look best. We had to replace the upstairs shower unit (severe leakage) and refinish the kitchen ceiling below. Tom built a new shower basin, matched tiling patterns, replaced plumbing and bathroom looks amazing. Remodeled kitchen ceiling by taking out neon lights, placing can lights , drywalled, taped, finished kitchen ceiling and it has made a huge difference. He tries hard to match existing paint/patterns, has new ideas, is prompt, responsive and cleans up during and after project. Bids are very reasonable. Definitely recommend TNT!

A year and a half ago I paid Tom to install a doggy door into my master bedroom. He didn't measure, check for studs, or use the trace that came with the tunnel wall kit. Because of that he just starting cutting material out and we ended up with the size of the entire dog door cut out of the wall instead of just the tunnel (biggest doggie door you can buy as well). It is now not waterproof and wind gets through. He also ended up cutting a weight bearing stud out of the external wall to top it off because he didn't check first. I started hearing a lot of creaking come from the doggy door and the rest of the house. My sliding glass door even stopped opening smoothly because that stud supported the header (frame) above the door, so now the door tract is slouching. Even after that there was still studs in the way of the two top screws so without tell me he just threw the screws away and told me it was fine after I saw the mistake.
I had other contractors take a look at the installation and they found that it was not properly framed per code. If you cut a load bearing stud you are supposed to frame it like a window, as the stud connects the roof to the slab and supports the weight of the roof.
Not only that but he is extremely dishonest. I left a review on on another site recently after trying many times to get ahold of him to explain the issue. He replied that the installation was made 3 years ago, but It was installed about two years ago. Also, should it even matter if the job was done incorrectly and is causing serious issues? So either he can't count or is just dishonest. He also lied and said I didn't pay. No, I charged back because the work wasn't done correctly, there is a big difference. He also claimed that is was a small doggy door in reply to the review to try to discredit what I'm saying, when in actuality it is the largest one you can buy.
He seems to think the integrity of one's house isn't that important when doing work. He will find out soon that this isn't a joke, because there are serious repercussions to this type of thing. I would have allowed him to reinstall it correctly, but I guess he wants to just deny the fact that is was done incorrectly and save himself minimal money when in the long run owning up to his mistake and fixing it would be much less costly. The problem with that is facts are facts. A mediator will suss this out extremely quickly. You can't just not follow code when doing general contracting.
For the love of god do not let this man or his son touch anything of importance.
