I have a friend that used this contracter. He is terrible. I spoke to him on the phone looking for a pool service myself. The first thing he told me was that if I ever took the water to be tested somewhere else I would not be able to use the pool guy. This is exactly what my friend did and he was told there were no chemicals nthe water.
This man billed once month for this servce and here it was not even being done. What a rip off.
This man should not be in business. He also took some of my friends equipment from his pool without permission. Basically he stole the equipment.I think my friend should sue this man to get back all the money he paid this man for his services that were not even performed. He also should contact the Better Business Bureau, which I am sure he will. By the way this site has him as being registered with the BBB, which he is not as I have checked with them.

I just happen to finally find any info on this pool guy after several years after he stole $1200.00 dollars off of me.I really am in shock that he could possibly still be in business after all this time, and all the un happy customers he has had which is what his helper told me.I just saw the Patti chick's comments and it brought back alot of old bad memories of my experiance with this clown.I just bought this house and used this pool guy because I didn't Know anything about how to take care of a pool and didn't have the time.He said he can offer me this All I Want To Do Is Swim Plan. This plan consisted of opening the pool, once a week service ,and all the chemicals and up keep with the pool.I fell for his sale pitch so I paid the $1200.00.
The first year everything seem cool except for the cloudy water and everyone getting sinus infectins ,and the liner started getting ugly stains around the bottom.I told him about the stains and he said there was nothing he could do about it.The next year I received his flyer to pay in full the $1200.00 in advance to receive his 10% discount.I don't normally do that but I thought I could trust him.so I paid it.It was getting close to the time to open the pool so I paid $300.00 to get the propane tank filled before Tony came out to open the pool.Tony came out on the 2nd week of May to open the pool.3 weeks later I had guest come over from up state and one of them stuck their hand in the pool and said it was warm for this time of year.I put my hand in and realized there was no way the water should be that hot.The heater was reading 78 degrees . The XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX left the heater on for 3 weeks and used up all the gas in the propane take.Icalled him right away and he said that me and my friends must have been playing around with the heater. I told him that nobody touches the pool equipment because it is part of my contract with him. He ask me " What do you expect me to do? I told him he should pay for the gas he wasted. I did not hear back from him for three weeks. In the meantime, he sent some kid to come out and service my pool. The kid said I needed a new pump seal for the pump and he had to rewire some of the wires in the box. Ever since then the breaker to the pool kept shutting off and had to be manuely switched inside the house to get the pump running. Finally Tony came out to service the pool and noticed that the pool pump wasn't running. I came home from work and noticed the pool pump was missing. I called Tony and asked him were my pool pump was. He said the pump was bad and he needed to send it to his pump quy. I told him the pump was fine and he needed to bring the pump back. He refused and said his quy needs to look at the pump. I had family and guest coming over that weekend and I ask him if the water quality was going to be safe and why did he take my pump. He said "stop calling me " and that I was harrasing him. So I took it upon myself to have the water tested by a professional pool service company. The very next day I came home from work , the pool was running and there was a gold pump and my pump was black. I couldn't figure how the pool was running considering he had no permission to come into my home and turn the breaker on. I finallay got a hold of him and he finally answered my call. I ask him whose pump is this? He told me it was mine and that it was refurbished. I told him that because I couldn't get a hold of him I had to get the water tested myself. The pool company told me that I had 0% chlorine and needed about 5 other chemicals to balance out my water to make it save to swim in.
After I told him I had the water tested he got extremely p----ed and said "what did you do?" I told him again I got the water tested and it is unsafe to swim in. He told me that apparently you have someone else taking care of your pool and that 'I' WAS FIRED. Yes you read that right. I
said" How can I be fired when I hired you? He said I was a pain in ass and have been nothing but problems and that I lived too far away anyway. I ask him for a refund and he said he would give me a refund and to stop calling him. Then I recieved a certified letter in the mail that he could no longer service my pool because I had an unsafe electrical problem in my breaker box which his helper created in the first place and that he can no longer service my pool until I have a certified electrician fix the problem and sorry but, there are no refunds. Since this experiance I realize that I have to take care of my pool on my own. Since then the water has been perfect.
