They walked out on our job and with 32k of our money. I have gotten numerous quotes from other contractors to finish what they started and we would need another 10k to fix the mess that they left!
They were her on and off for over 18 months, leaving this job to finish others, including a neighbor across the street. They kept asking for more money, which I assume they were using to finance their other projects.
I do not have any money left to have someone finish the job, all that I had was from a family inheritance. When they started I had just had two knees replaced so I could not check their craftsmanship daily and believe me they have none !
I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis and osteo arthritis 1/23/2015 and my health is deteriorating. Schedule for two hip replacements now, summer or 2016 and am not able to finish what they left!
Have to laugh as the owner was a preacher, it makes me doubt my religion when a man like that can screw you over so badly. While their construction team was here a piece of my jewelry was stolen. They are very unprofessional, after 18 months the job of building a deck and finishing my upstairs as it is a modular home were not even close to finished.
If you doubt anything I have said please contact me, [email protected]. I would gladly send you pictures of every mistake they made or give you a tour of our house to show you.
I'm begging you not t hire them and if you do check their work daily and have them give you a finish date to which they will be penalized if not completely. Do not write out checks to his wife as I did, why I had to do that I am still not sure. I would give them no more money other than for materials, you actually should buy them yourself and not another cent until the job was finished to your satisfaction!
