    Tony Lau guided me through the maze of obtaining building permit process with our house. He secured the foundation of the house and also closed off the preexisting patio to curve out +600 sqft space on the basement level. What I was most impressed about Tony is that when the project got tough because of the complicated demands from DBI, he took it upon himself to work it out with the city until the permits were granted. It has been more than 3 years and we could sleep well knowing that when the next earthquake hits us, our house will be standing. While we did not go for elaborated fixtures and materials due to limited budget, Tony managed to turn our basement into a simple yet elegant liveable space. We would recommend Tony Lau to anyone who is looking to do the foundation work as well as develop the additional liveable space in their house. You will not be disappointed.
