I had a total roof replacement done in Dec. Nick was terrific to work with. He’s professional, personable and responsive! He and his crew went above and beyond, here’s how: I have a 30’ wide retractable awning attached to my roof. It’s connected electronically to an anemometer. It took a crew of four to remove the awning so that the roof could be removed and replaced. Afterwards, the crew reinstalled the awning and sealed around the connections to the roof. Nick also brought in an electrician, Robert Matsyn of LBL Constructors to rewire the awning. He went around the eave so as not to penetrate the new roof. Robert tested the anemometer by pointing a fan toward it. Sure enough, the awning retracted.
I also needed two skylights replaced. Nick’s crew had to temporarily remove the existing skylights so they could roof around them and prep the roof for the new skylights. Once done, the old skylights had to be reinstalled while we waited for the new ones to arrive. Nick coordinated with Solatube (skylight manuf.) and supervised the final removal of two skylights and the installation of the new ones. He made sure the roofing around the skylights was secure. The new skylights took up less space in the shaft so unpainted wood was now exposed. Nick had his crew paint the wood so that it blended in with the drywall, wow!
Nick was diligent in his inspections of the roofing process, especially around the awning and skylights. I highly recommend him.
