Urban Restoration is by far a 5 star builder. They were in budget, clean, completely transparent, on-time, and most importantly a pleasure to work with. Their guys are wonderful and go above and beyond to make sure it's done right and to the clients complete satisfaction. I highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use again and again.

The entire team of people at Urban Restoration who worked on our project: Reg & Victor (the owners), Michelle, Paul, Riat, Michael and Jesse all did meticulous work.
You know that old adage, “if you are going to do a remodel, plan on it costing 50% more than you budgeted and taking twice as long? That does NOT happen with UR-Build.
Reg took 2 weeks creating the spreadsheet that notated EVERY single expense (even things like the current price for drywall, etc) in order to give us as exact an estimate as possible. The only extra costs were for things that we decided to add on to the remodel as it progressed and we saw how great their work was.
Even with COVID slowing down permit approvals for everyone in Kirkland, these guys did a complete home renovation in about 5 months (including demolition).
The remodel on our 3,500 sf house was extensive. It required moving exterior doors & windows, removing support columns and replacing them with steel beams (ALL over our house), ripping out walls, installing hard wood floors, adding an electrical panel, gutting a small kitchen and pantry and creating a custom 21 foot wide kitchen with a 9-foot island. And they did all of it starting Jan 2 and finishing at the end of May. I have never seen anything like it, nor had my friends, several of whom had horror stories about their remodels.
Not only was this team able to complete our “gut job” in a ridiculously short amount of time, but each of them took pride in making every detail absolutely beautiful, thinking of things that would never have occurred to us.
In order to meet their deadline so we could move in, this team worked every weekday and even some weekends. They showed up on time. They multi-tasked. They left the house swept and clean at the end of every working day so that we could do walk through in the evenings whenever we wanted. They made our 1990s “house of columns” a beautiful, peaceful, modern space.
Everyone on their crew (including Jesse, the custom cabinet maker) was inventive, talented, professional, friendly, devoted to our job, easy to work with and kind.
We have already recommended UR-Build to two sets of our friends both in Bellevue and in Sammamish, basically telling them that they are crazy if they hire anyone else but them.
I promise, I’m not exaggerating when I say that this firm is a blessing. I thank them from the bottom of my heart. They have truly turned an dark, ugly old house into a beautiful home that we never want to leave.
One last note: Reg and Victor, the owners, are both incredibly smart, crazy-talented and so compassionate (which is under-rated in the world of construction). Renovations are stressful, exhausting and flat-out scary for the homeowner. These two guys were compassionate at every turn: trying so hard to make every dollar go as far as possible and to make the process as easy on us (the homeowners) as they could. They are are true gentlemen and I am so grateful we found them.
