I hired Mr. Joe Valente to install a Blue Hawaiian Southwind pool which was installed in May 2018.
The pool was not installed per manufacture instructions; Latham requires each pool to have a permanent sump / day drain; soil to be compacted, pool moved onsite with 4 straps, and finally the lip of the pool to be wired and covered with concrete.
The pool started sinking / shifting away from the concrete within 15 months it also has a crack in the first step.
The warranty form states, “The Buyer is responsible for bracing and draining the pool and removing all hydrostatic pressure (groundwater) from under and around the pool shell.” Why is Mr. Valente not installing the permanent sump drain in the pools in this area? Ground water can not be removed for the pool to be repaired if needed.
