We hired Viola Gardens to do a backyard landscape around our pool that included an upper deck, a small deck at the end of the pool plus stairs. They also made pathways and planted plants. While they seem to be knowledgeable regarding some design work and plants, they are not deck builders. Unfortunately, after 4 1/2 years we had to have a new deck built. The composite deck they built was not built to composite deck specifications, and after a couple bad winters with a lot of rain, the deck warped and pulled apart due to inadequate spacing between the planks and improper drainage. We tried to come to a resolution but were unable to come to an equitable solution. We had a new deck built by a professional deck builder. Do your due diligence regarding deck building.
