I have a home built by Watts Enterprises. The outside back deck started pealing the first year I owned the home. Russ Watts laughed and said the pealing was “ my fault. Because I did not properly maintain this outside deck. I went to the BBB. Russ was able to get the complaint “resolved” through the BBB shifting the responsibility onto me the homeowner. Years later many, many, many, many decks in Trappers Ridge Eden Utah were rotting.
The cost to replace my deck now is 10K. Russ Watts, Owner of Watts Enterprises and President of the HOA at Trappers Ridge in Eden, Utah offered a “goodwill jester” of $2K.
Hardly “resolved”......
